So tyres are fitted, mudguards are next. Ok, maybe not. They don't fit, the disc brakes get in the way and my tyres I bought are to big.

What annoys me most is I already have the Oltre xr1 that needs servicing, the Arcadex which is going to cost a fortune to fix & 2 weeks before setting a date for my LEJOG this happens on a brand new bike!

I had a great ride on Exmoor yesterday and love the bike. But I'm a little concerned with what's going on with the crank. Yesterday, particularly on the climbs there was a very audible clunking, maybe a split bearing?

Been out on the Arcadex. Last time I rode it, it was dropping the chain. Chain looks ok & I've just cleaned it again. I can only think the cables badly stretched or the mech hanger is bent

Looks like I might be swapping back to the road bike for my next audax, the front brake on the gravel bike still doesn't work. Bit of a nuisance as the route I was going to take has some gravel on it to miss out a rather busy road #cycling #audax #cyclistproblems #ukcyclechat

I'm prepping this bike for tomorrow's audax and after last week the derailleur seemed to need attention, doesn't want to shift smoothly changing up or down, it's always in the 4th ring on the cassette it starts jumping and I can't work out why? π€ #ukcyclechat #cyclistproblems
