Mauritius flight updates due to Cyclone Eleanor:
Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (Mauritius) is closed from 22 February 2024 until further notice, due to #CycloneEleanor. The two affected South African Airways flights, SA190 from O.R Tambo International Airport to Mauritius, and flight SA191 inbound to Johannesburg from Mauritius are cancelled.
The cancellation of flights due to adverse weather conditions is procedural for the safety and wellbeing of our customers and crew.
Customers from the cancelled flights will be re-accommodated and notified accordingly.
SAA and the Airports Authority in Mauritius will continue to monitor the situation closely and further communications will be provided should there be any further changes or cancellations.
