but seriously, what did Congolese ever do to deserve a president like Felix Tshisekedi? What on earth did ordinary, everyday Congolese civilians do to deserve this ultra-incompetent, greedy, warmongering nepo baby (he owes the fact he is president solely to his name) as their ruler? The things the guy does strain credulity; just mind-bending stuff. He signs peace agreements he has zero intention of fulfilling. He keeps his starving, long-suffering citizens in penury in part by lavishing huge sums of money on war weapons, provoking wars he loses each time, only to repeat the cycle. He squanders vast sums of his badly impoverished country’s money on European or Latin American mercenaries, and on paying huge networks of propagandists to smear Rwanda - all which inevitably fail to help him in anyway. Tshisekedi loots. his cabal (of the Muyayas and others) loot. They plunder the public resources of Congolese. And so, millions of Congolese have nothing to eat; schools have no chalk, let alone textbooks; teachers and civil servants go unpaid; hospitals have nothing so much as disinfectant; jungles overgrow bush roads, and Kinshasa the capital (infamously nicknamed “Kin la poubelle”) becomes more of a giant dumpster than ever before. But Tshisekedi shows not the slightest smidgen of concern. This Belgian citizen from Matonge (Brussels) has other priorities far more important to him than Congolese, or the problems of millions of suffering Congolese. You really have to pity the ordinary Congolese. Like these ones here; resident of their beleaguered capital.
