Ummm…if @OSSEDC @DCPSChancellor @dcpublicschools are still “striving” to hit the 10% testing floor across a relatively small school system, three weeks in to the mandated in-person learning year, perhaps it’s time to hand over that responsibility. @councilofdc #dcvirtualoption

@CNN I think most of us think in-person is key to our children’s development. BUT, mitigation tactics need equipment, MASS testing and tracing, more square footage, additional staff, meals and naps outside. SCHOOLS ARE NOT READY OR SUPPORTED, @dcpublicschools! #DCVirtualOption

@ASlavitt And schools across the country, including in the nation’s capital are being forced back into crowded school buildings with not enough space for distance recs and broken HVAC systems. We need a virtual option for our under 12s who can’t get vaccinated. #DCVirtualOption

I am concerned that the only way @MayorBowser @DCPSChancellor and @OSSEDC will do a #dcvirtualoption is if someone's child dies or becomes severly ill. It will be too late by then. I hope they are not wrong but if they are, our children will pay the price!
