Which is not to say that we don't need #ElectoralReform and deeper democratic reform too - including Citizens Assemblies on 1) our voting system and 2) the existential issue of climate and ecological justice. We need to #UpgradeDemocracy to be fit for the 21st century. #demand3

My proposal is to focus on #demand3 -- we need enhanced participatory democratic practices to design a safe path out of the climate (justice) emergency. Doesn't basically everyone agree with that? XR will evaporate as soon as there are decent citizen assemblies running.
