one of my lasts update on the #denwritingchallenge: Tuesday 570 words, Wednesday 821 words, today 784 words. Tomorrow is the last day for me (as I am not writing on weekends) but I am traveling all day long, so let's see if there will be any words for the grande finale...
@arreut @janislena @kierancutting Just to reiterate, the #DENWritingChallenge isnโt about writing 500 perfect words a day - it could be a plan, it could be reflection on the day/week, it could be notes, it could be annotations from reading research papers! Itโs more about habit building ๐๐
@janislena @kierancutting I like this idea. I also think it takes the pressure off the #DENWritingChallenge - people mostly report positive things anyway and to alternatively report on other successes can be helpful too.
@kierancutting @arreut Yes, I have found the #denwritingchallenge incredibly useful for planning my thesis through writing, simultaneously developing a writing habit and forcing me to think through my argument properly. So basically, writing is now both a tool and a craft for me ;)
So to report on a more diverse picture on the #DENWritingChallenge: I really don't feel like this week is going particularly well in terms of wordcounts. I don't work weekends and I don't feel like writing this week and I actually think that's fine. Reading instead.

Awe! Me too! :) My brain fog was overcome and 484 words were written on thesis outline (version 2.1). So together with the 737w I wrote in order to prepare my supervision meeting tomorrow, this makes 1221w today - BAM! :D #DENWritingChallenge
So happy I attended the peer organised @OpenLab_Ncl writing group today with lots of other concentrated PhDs and it made me exceed my #DENWritingChallenge goal for the day. This makes up for a slow progress last week.
