So, the very first question is:…What exactly was the device allegedly seized from the student?
Was it a mobile phone, a scientific calculator, or some other permitted /prohibited device?
And if it was a mobile phone, what kind of checking was done when the student entered the examination hall?
More importantly, if a student is actually found engaging in malpractice during a scheduled examination, there are established procedures…such as obtaining a written apology / undertaking, referring the matter to the senior supervisor or Controller of Examinations, and, where applicable, requiring the student to appear before the Grievance Redressal Committee…
And does this video establish that the prescribed examination-malpractice procedure was followed? No…
So why rush to declare someone guilty based on a video without the full context?
Isn’t that serious enough to warrant questions before rushing to conclusions?
