I do not often share my daily #DOdrops online, but as soon as I wrote this one, I knew that I would. There is no God like our God, and no book like the Bible!
Morning DO Drops

Take a look at your Bible. And now imagine hearing the sneering, very commonly spoken words of atheists and skeptics, โItโs just a book written by men, like any other book.โ Now that you have that sound in your head, take a look at these verses.
Psalm 24:1 <A Psalm of David.> The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
This passage says that the earth, the dry land, is founded upon the seas, and established upon the floods. โHaha!โ says the scoffer, โthere is proof of what I say! The dry land is not upon the water; it contains all of the water in its oceans and lakes and rivers!โ
And now, pay attention to how science, yet again, always eventually catches up to Scripture. In a recent column โAn Underground Ocean? Scientists Discover Water Deep Within Earth,โ we find that scientists have recently discovered that what is known as the Transition Zone, which is the boundary between the upper and lower mantles of the earth, roughly 255-410 miles beneath our feet, is ringwoodite. In short, it is basically a huge sponge holding as much as six times the amount of water in all of our oceans! The lead scientist on the project said, โIn this study, we have demonstrated that the transition zone is not a dry sponge, but holds considerable quantities of water. This brings us one step closer to Jules Verneโs idea of an ocean inside the Earth.โ
Except for the fact that Jules Verne was several thousand years late to Psalm 24's party, and an eternity late to Godโs party on the subject.
In any โconflictโ between science and Scripture, DO be patient; science will eventually catch up!
