Hey, my dear Marie,
sunshine - yes, I mean you,
You shine so
bright in all you do.
May your day
be sweet and full of cheer,
And may you
feel loved far and near.

For
my dearest Diana:
A birthday wish,
soft as a purring cat,
Curled up beside
you - just like that.
May this year bring
you joy in every way,
And may your cat love
you more each day.
Happy Birthday! 🎉 🐱🎂

It’s obvious that you had a bad day.
Rely on anyone reliable.
Let’s hang out and seek something fun to play.
Go find a way you could be viablie.

You have been walking around in new shoes,
Got nothing but a blister in your heel.
The rookie doesn’t have anything to lose.
There lies frontiers with which you’ve got to deal.

Try to choose clothes to tidy yourself, dear.
Get ready to meet someone new, not rude.
Don’t go for the vain vogue, stick to the gear
In which you can show who you are than nude.

In high school years, I passed this stone pavement
Everyday. Stones may recognize my face.
Because I’ve not grown out of enslavement
To the naive daydreams I used to chase.

Do birds and bugs have human-like hearts? Wrong.
But we find our feelings in crow or dove.
Some hear contempt in crickets’ song,
While others take it as whisper of love.

It is the chill you feel in the morning
It is the way she shut the window latch.
It is the thin clouds high up, adorning
The tincture of the blue______The autumn’s hatch.

Since all the world’s a stage, you play yourself.
Yes, it’s too harsh to pass as you are here.
But you’re not pro, don’t act as king or elf.
Perform a better version of you, dear.

You have to brace your feet as swirled
In this severe tornado, my daughter.
Which’s not the easiest thing in the world.
We barely keep our head above water.

Please don’t forget you suffer the same things
As people did a thousand years ago.
And they’ll do in a thousand years. Earthlings
Will not improve in such a span, you know.

Now travelling sun’s settled at the inn.
I feel my forearms a little tingle.
And sense autumn night cool breeze coming in
To bring the sound of the cricket’s jingle.

“The harvest moon, see what I’ve done so far
Or haven’t done, when two thirds of the year passed.”
”Don’t ask the satelite, while you’re the star.
You might feel weak, but now the die is cast.”

Today I’m free like a stray honey bee.
Yes, in a sense I’ve lost where I belong.
You know the future is not mine to see.
But I feel strong, because I did no wrong.

So many things have happened to me down here.
So many things I’ve done to people, too.
Regrets, deception and ignorance____dear,
Now I remember them all to get through.

A poet, you give birth to your own verse.
You raise your poem with your pen and voice.
A parent who’s just got a child to nurse.
Who might be Frankenstein? Bard, It’s your choice.

The next time you see me, I promise you,
That I will be the man I trully am.
Not insignificant other’s dim view,
Or my own big mock-optimistic scam.

In these unpleasantly warm and damp night,
You may not want to sleep in such a sweat.
You’re like a pendulum in the moonlight,
Swing between fridge, bath and bed___awake yet!

It’s sad to see you blame yourself, so mean.
‘Cause you’re just someone trapped in the wrong place.
No I won’t lie, you’re the greatest I’ve seen.
I do repeat till I’m blue in the face.

While golden sun shines lively at high noon,
Watch thunderheads appear and grow taller.
You can’t say they won’t pour down on you soon.
Take an umbrella to make woe smaller.
