Daisy claims she acted in self defense. According to court documents, Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Lody Jean granted Daisy Link a new trial as her previous trial was “prejudiced by photos that prosecutors showed jurors” in the hope to discredit her self defense claim. However, the photos shown were not introduced into evidence. Daisy was found guilty of killing her husband, Pedro Jimenez. Daisy claims she acted in self defense.

According to court documents, Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Lody Jean granted Daisy Link a new trial as her previous trial was “prejudiced by photos that prosecutors showed jurors” in the hope to discredit her self defense claim. However, the photos shown were not introduced into evidence.

The order states;

“The errors deprive (Link) of a fair and impartial trial and likely materially contributed to the jury’s finding of guilty”.
