We're still at $75 total raised, $25 to @ACLU and $50 to Black Art Futures Fund. Who wants to chip in to a community bail fund and make it an even $100 raised? #Tap4ACLU #Dance4Change
Here's the announcement about my taking on the #Tap4ACLU challenge:
The website is live, and if you're eager to see the myriad of ways I can make a fool of myself for charity, you need to go and Donate Directly. Links provided! #Dance4Change

This is why I'm raising money for the ACLU. Join me. Donation links are here, both for the ACLU and community bail funds. #Tap4ACLU #Dance4Change

BREAKING: We're filing a complaint against Detroit police for wrongfully arresting Robert Williams, an innocent Black man — all because face recognition technology can't tell Black people apart.
Officers hauled him away in front of his kids and locked him up for 30 hours.
Counting up this afternoon, we're sending $25 to @aclu and $50 to the Black Art Futures Fund!
Who's going to donate to the Bail Funds? #Tap4ACLU #Dance4Change

And if you want a graphic to use, voilà. Spread the word. Raise funds. Support the arts, support justice, support Black people in solidarity. #Tap4ACLU #Dance4Change

Dancers, join me. Especially if you're not Black. Even if you can't tap. It doesn't matter. We can be fools together and put the key tool for change into the pockets of people doing the work: money.
Retweet, donate, and get yourself some shoes to make some noise. #Dance4Change
My Ko-Fi link is in the thread, and here's my Venmo: AI-Valentin. I'm going to take donations for 2 weeks.
Then, on the 4th of July, I'm going to film my dorky-ass fat disabled Jewish self tap dancing on my patio in the Southern heat. Because #BlackLivesMatter #Dance4Change
I have funding for tap shoes! But let's go bigger. I'm going to #Tap4ACLU, but I'm calling out to my other dance friends to #Dance4Change. I'm donating all money raised to 3 organisations: @aclu, @actblue Bail Funds, and Black Art Futures Fund. Details: https://t.co/zAZLc3GOu6
This MFA needs to be useful for something, right? Social justice + dance has to be it.
I also hope some actual tap dancers, like the incredible @chloearnold, take up the challenge with actual artistry, skill, and talent. I'm just a dude flailing around.
