Porter Davis went to Daniel Andrew’s “cap in hand” to try ensure Victorians who had contracts with them had their homes completed and handed over. Daniel Andrew’s response “if the bank won’t help you because of your fundamentals then I don’t believe the government will want to “bail out”. Victorians are paying $10.58m a day in interest payments on Andrews Government borrowings. It’s not a choice we had or to assess, to bailout to this government with our taxpayer funds. For some reason through a housing crisis this wasn’t a priority to Dan. It will now cost us more money through government intervention to have those houses finished. It will cost the property owners more money because they are out of contract and it always costs more to take over a job than to finish it. While Andrews had the opportunity to go “cap in hand” to china to help pay the bills. Hardworking Victorians are left with egg on their face and facing financial ruin as it he didn’t see Victorian homes as a safe investment. He can dole out money left right and centre to virtual signal “Respect” but won’t fork out for Victorian families left desperate for homes. #auspol #springst #families #housingcrisis #porterdavis #porterdavishomes #bailout #politics
