Dara Singh was not a savior he was an extortionist killer. Courts gave him life imprisonment not just for the Graham Staines triple murder in January 1999, but also for the Thakurmunda case in August 1999.
In the Thakurmunda case, it was documented and proved that Dara Singh demanded hafta/chanda from shopkeeper Sk. Rahaman. When Rahaman refused, Singh attacked and chased him with an axe, dragged him back to his shop, poured kerosene, and set him ablaze.
His both cases wasn’t anything to deal with ideology. It was extortion, rage, and violence.Dara Singh wasn’t a “normal human” - he was a man with uncontrollable anger, capable of killing and burning people at the drop of a hat.
Dara Singh’s legacy is not of “saving Sanatan” - it is of criminal brutality.
