On April 4 2007, Bob Clark & his 22yo son Ariel were killed by a drunk driver in the Pacific Palisades. Clark's final film, Blonde and Blonder, was dedicated to their memory although sadly Clark didn't get credit.

Dum-dum sequel has Clark once again reminiscing about growing up on South Florida in 1950s w/another round of pranks & revenge sans the titular villain and raunchiness which defined the much-better original.
