Dear Emcees everywhere: Get in the habit of using gender neutral pronouns when you introduce speakers.

Colonizers are so individualized that it doesn't occur to them that connection to community matters.

In the last session I attended the presenters took the time to explain how their methodology and practice was informed by indigenous knowledge. They were able to talk about their relationships with the original people where they work and study
