I adore this pavilion as a sculptural object but it's ridiculous they need to erect tents under it on sunny event days because its roof doesn't actually provide shade.

Older gentleman gets ushered off of steps of an office building on Spadina, told its “private property”. Notice the lack of benches/anywhere to sit along the wide sidewalk. Were there previously benches or planters along this stretch? (Now filled in with asphalt)
If you're like me, you probably think there aren't enough spaces to sit in Toronto. Which is why you're probably just as shocked to find out that UofT has a BENCH GRAVEYARD.
