If you think the @scotgov has kicked a Conversion Therapy Ban into the long grass or rather waiting for the UK Government to enact it then think again.
Between Jan & Apr 2024, @scotgov held a consultation on proposed legislation to End Conversion Practices in Scotland. Before even reviewing outcomes, @scotgov reaffirmed its commitment in the 2024-25 Programme for Government: “We will prepare legislation for introduction to the Scottish Parliament should a UK wide approach not be achievable.”
