For anyone wondering how post-#DeSPAC stocks trade in the open market..
Even good companies like $ASTS, $OKLO, $INFQ usually go through a pretty similar pattern:
debut run -> early holders sell -> pressure continues -> long consolidation -> bottom forms -> finally rerate
How long does the digestion take?
Sometimes a few months.
Sometimes 1–2 years.
Why does the price drop after the debut run? I guess that the rallies often gives early holders liquidity to exit.
And the selling usually comes in phases:
- some holders can sell immediately.
- some sell into the first liquidity window.
- some sell after lock-up expires.
- warrants/earnouts can add pressure later.
That is the mechanical De-SPAC digestion.
That is why I'm careful with $BRUN here.
I actually like the company:
- fresh #neocloud angle.
- credible management background.
- strong pipeline.
- dell supply agreement.
But for De-SPAC trades, the key is not just the story...
it is where the stock sits in the trading cycle.
