🚢 Key Updates:
Account Creation
Friend System and Account Resolution: Adam succeeded with friend request transactions and demonstrated a basic UI for adding friends. He's working on fixing event handling issues with Frank's help and added functions to retrieve friends by username or ranges for future UI enhancements.
User Interface
Escape Menu: Frank and Dima discussed making the escape key first close the chat window, then open the escape menu to simplify UI handling.
Social Features
Friend System Transactions: Adam completed transaction components for the friend system.
Questing
Testing Quests: Dima and Adam discussed creating another account to finish testing quests. They decided tools should be equippable but not usable in discovery mode for added engagement.
Map
Billboarding and Map Tiles: JM worked on billboards and tree materials, deciding to use the auto-lod system for better performance. Aligning objects to terrain outside the tile scene needs further work.
