To start with CC will trigger instability and convergence over #Vidarbha and #Marathwada regions from 11 Jun. #Nagpur #Amravati #Akola #Yavatmal #Nanded #Latur #Washim #Hingoli will see confluence of dry and moist winds leading to mod-intense thunderstorms 11 - 13 Jun with mod-heavy rains during afternoon to overnight hrs ⛈️ This belt of thunderstorms will gradually shift to Madhya Maha on Thursday and Friday. Issuing a Red warning 🔴for #Kohlapur ghats, #Sindhudurg and #Ratnagiri for Friday & Saturday. Strong convergence on western flank of CC and strong offshore #trough activation will result in very-extremely heavy downpours amounting to 200-400 mm in 48 hrs between 13-14 Jun 🌧️This can cause issues with flooding ⚠️ #Mumbai & N konkan will continue to be mostly dry and humid until Friday⛅. #ShearZone influence on 14 & 15th as the monsoon surge climbs north, so not expecting much this weekend.
