@amedsker I think when I preached it for the camera on Friday I was worried that it didn’t hold together as a cohesive whole. Upon hearing it today, I felt it did. Sometimes I’m just too close to the things. Plus, it’s the 25th consecutive week of video preaching. #digitalpriestlife
So I just listened to the sermon I recorded for our online liturgy on Friday. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was. I would grade it as “not-suboptimal.” #DigitalPriestLife

New learnings this week: Just because you “can” have 17 Zoom conversations in 3.5 days doesn’t mean you “should.” Pre-recording the weekly sermon, while necessary during CoronaTide, means said sermon can become painfully irrelevant by Sunday morning. #DigitalPriestLife #FretNot
