Listening to @terryoinfluence on a drive back from @MuseumofNature has given me a humorous idea for #DinosaurProject’s Kickstarter video. During the course of the video, the fossils discover their entire species was wiped out by a meteor and they freak.
Worked on a highly revised logo for #DinosaurProject today based on feedback from playtesters & fellow industry peeps. Next step is getting a “dinosaur hand” holding the magnifying glass & I’m hoping to hear from back from a potential artist tonight.
Thinking about Metatopia last year (I’m not there this year, needed at home right now). I brought #DinosaurProject for a successful playtest & now we’re prepping the first game to launch soon on Kickstarter.

I know we keep putting off #DinosaurProject's playtest but there are so many factors going into this more than any other. We have to set the bar higher on this one and we need this demo version to sell the full version.
It's why I'm considering kickstarting the demo.
Then I've gotta finish writing #DinosaurProject's playtest of The Gobi Expedition. Rules are written but the expedition/adventure is getting a significant rewrite after listening to @MisdirectedMark's recent episode about onboarding.
August will have to be the start of an end-of-2019 writing marathon for a few projects. Trying to look ahead and map out the coming months.
#DinosaurProject will be first. Want to write up the playtest in August and get it to editing in September for a Q4 release.
To @danielhkwan, thank you for sitting down and looking over #DinosaurProject with your professional and personal eyes. Hearing "I would play the shit out of this" was exactly what my wife and I wanted to hear. She was excited when I told her.
To handle terrains and other events in #DinosaurProject, we're going to try using cards placed on the table. Each expedition will start with their campsite in the center. The further you travel from camp to explore and discover, the more cards you put down.
Another fun, goofy, and interesting playtest of #DinosaurProject at a mini-con yesterday. Going to try using a point system for using future tech as it was a little too readily available, keeps problems from being a thing. What d'ya think @EricMPaq?
