Closing out our #DisabilityTC was our 4pm poster presenter @GudinoJn. While eugenics is not as overt as in mass sterilization procedures, eugenics has transformed and still impacts us today.

Our analysis found that 17% of 15,590 people sterilized before 1945 were non-native immigrants. Immigrants (as a whole) were 23% less likely to be sterilized than US-born people. This effect is erased when immigrants are stratified by gender & region of birth.
