The inspiration started with the problems on testnet, where there was no solution. Then an idea started to form in my head based on what I did back in 2021 with the first Dogecoin NFT, created directly on the Dogecoin blockchain using nothing more than a checksum on OP_RETURN .
More recently, because of @MyDogeCEO / @MyDogeCTO ZK proposal for CORE: https://t.co/7ZESsVOMSE, there have been some concerns. Some people think it could cause forks or security issues, and CORE is very strict and conservative about adding anything new.
So, when the doors to CORE were not open to new ideas and everyone seemed afraid to say anything, I saw an opportunity to make a bold move. I decided to build a new Dogecoin full node using the same CORE protocol and consensus, along with a new testnet that fixes the CORE bug, to see what would be possible with a little imagination and the tools available today without causing any forks or changes in consensus.
The result is better than I expected, and I'm excited to share all the code as open source over the next few days so everyone can start testing, experimenting, and helping build this idea. π
Now you can run dual instances, Mainnet and Testnet at the same time on the same machine easily and the Dogecoin Logo on testnet is Red to differentiate both networks using #DogeGo Full Dogecoin Node

#DogeGo using the new protocol DGR (DogeGo relay) uses QUIC UDP port 24433 by default, not the same as Dogecoin P2P TCP 22556. Clients dial out to operators; operators forward UDP 24433 from the internet and so it can work as a Full Node for example using @Starlink CGNATπ

Not bad temperatures for the summer, Multi-Use WD-40 can cause shorts on a board and damage plastic, but applying and cleaning all with 90% Isopropyl Alcohol minimise any damage and in my case solved for now, quickly, to fix fan rotator that was stuck do to sea ββsalt pan
