Back in the 90's I was offered this TV movie, my agents and managers begged not do it. I did it anyway and so happy I did. Today, because the original studio, Fox, that aired this TV will not make it available for streaming anywhere, because of their conservative beliefs!

Blast from the past! #WilliamMcNamara stars in #DoingTimeonMapleDrive - released 16 March 1992. It was a time when a gay guy had little to no choice. As reports have it, some parents would have them institutionalized. In Asia, it's probably the deafening silence, rejection, and isolation... Critics, at that time, thought of it as oversimplification, over-dramatization, and what not. However, it's different from those 'in the closet' - hey what do they know?

I had the pleasure of directing @JimCarrey 25 years ago. He played a damaged, young alcoholic in one of his first dramatic roles. He was brilliant. But his cartoons?! They’re genius.

@LisaQuake @tntdrama So did I! I sometimes describe a dreary situation as #DoingTimeonMapleDrive. I’m resentful that @JamesADuff chose to tear down all that #MajorCrimes accomplished in six seasons into this burdensome, tedious, joyless conclusion.
