Seperatists are telling Albertans to vote Option two to send a message to the federal government. This isn’t a game! Question number 10 is not a message, it’s a choice to support Alberta remaining part of Canada or supporting the process of separation. We don’t know if Danielle Smith will remains in power nor if she or someone else will keep the promise that they will not pursue a second binding referendum if the majority of Albertans vote for Option 1. We also don’t know if someone leading the UCP will simply pursue legal efforts to enforce Alberta’s separation from Canada. Danielle Smith promised to not do so many things in her pre election campaign, who knows if she’ll do the same with this referendum.
