My 1st taste of a tequila cask finish, in the form of the @balconesdistilling 3yo. There is A LOT going on! Funky vegetal notes with some sticky sweetness, agave, white pepper, grassiness, lemon creams, berries and salty caramel. Very different... Me likely! 🥃🥃 #DramGoodClub

An abundance of fruit jam (apricot + marmalade), with a sweet toffee note balanced by a nice amount of bitterness. So much going on in this young whisky! Really enjoying this dram. Definitely a distillery I'll be watching with keen interest 🧐🥃 #BoutiqueyWhisky #DramGoodClub

Couldn’t make my mind, so I let my wife choose for me and @Glengoyne it is ! Nice 27yo single malt with big sherried and dried fruits notes on the nose. Buttery and spicy on the palate with a hint of toffee (but no sweet notes, which is fine for me). Really nice. #DramGoodClub

Came home to an unannounced Whiskey delivery (they're the best type) today from @AtomBrands & @BoutiqueyWhisky for their #DramGoodClub. Contents - Glengoyne 17yo, Cotswolds 3yo, Balcones 3yo Tequila cask aged, Cameronbridge 39yo and a Labourdonnais 5yo Rum. Reviews to come.
