Today's #DrawingFromTheCollection is this beautiful pastel drawing of the heroic #WW2 rescue dog Irma! Irma was paired with a dog called Psyche, the two of them went of the chalk up 233 rescues! 'Irma' by Georgina Shaw Baker (1860–1951)

This sketchbook by Bury artist James 'Clock' Shaw contains sketches of Bury, like these drawings of the old Market Place and the Clarence Hotel. The sketchbook is currently displayed in our 'Spirit of a Place' exhibition along with more of his work! #DrawingFromTheCollection

Last week, #SketchbookSTILLSocial shared these #drawing gems by artist Anna Airy (1882-1964) from our collection. These works, with their crayoned textures and delicate inky washes, featured in the exhibition 'Drawing Influence' in 2015. #DrawingFromTheCollection.
