This driver was stopped on Highway 401 East outside of Woodstock after registering a speed of 162km/h in a posted 100km/h zone.
The driver received a 30 day licence suspension and the rental car was impounded for 14 days. ^rc

With the warmer weather sticking around, #GrandBend is still seeing an influx of visitors. #LambtonOPP would like to remind the residents & visitors of Lambton County of the current traffic campaign.
This week, our officers are tackling dangerous driving behaviours & illegally modified vehicles—like excessive window tint, modified exhausts, and lowered suspensions. Drivers caught engaging in stunt driving or operating illegally modified vehicles can face hefty fines, points on their license, and even vehicle impoundment. Don’t risk it—you could be left walking!
#LambtonOPP will be increasing patrols and conducting modified vehicle inspections focusing on identifying and addressing these dangerous behaviours.

We are asking @BrantCommunity to report dangerous driving behaviour including speeding, unsafe passing, brake-checking, and racing.
