wtf is this #DropTheUNC
As part of the @UNC_System family, we love showing up and supporting our sister institutions! @UNCG and @UNCWilmington had a blast supporting our Carolina Tar Heels!
What??? #DropTheUNC
The University of Charlotte at Chapel Hill has fired all of its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion employees and diverted their $2,300,000 annual budget to hire more police.
Anything without “UNC” in it is fine by me. We need our own identity. Sick of people thinking I went to UNCCH. Sick of our professors work getting credited to UNCCH. I can go on. #DropTheUNC
So we've had a big discussion all day about renaming UNC Charlotte to something else.
What do y'all say
#GoldStandard
@langstonwertzjr It's got to happen and we should use every bit of political capital and community support we can muster to achieve it. We will never have our own strong identity until it changes and our acronym having CC at the end is terribly confusing to outsiders. #DropTheUNC
With its new designation as a top national research university, now might be the time for UNC Charlotte to make that name change many (many) alums have longed for
How does the University of Charlotte sound to you?
What a terrible take! Laughable almost #DropTheUNC
@BrandonFreer @SSN_49ers @SAthletesLBB @CoachTReed @unccharlotte Should have never attempted the Charlotte only man in athletics. It even confused current students. Everyone knew who UNCC was. No one knows anymore and why should they? The UNCC brand had just become a national brand and suddenly rebranded to something sounding brand new.
This might be one of the dumbest tweets I have ever read. I actually think I lost brain cells. Seriously. #DropTheUNC
It’s just Charlotte‼️#DropTheUNC
Reasons to #DropTheUNC
A guy on a dating app asked me what I did at UNC…I put UNC Charlotte and that I graduated in 2020.
UNC and UNC Charlotte are two different universities 🤧🤧
The name! #DropTheUNC
If you could change one thing about Charlotte, what would it be?
