I finally digitized some of the dry plates in my collection. This one is so beautiful. If you look closely you will see a horse drawn carriage on the road ahead:) This is a photo from 1935 of Lake Ridge near Bellefontaine, Ohio #photography #dryPlate #oldDays #vintage #ohio

My first few dry plates. Working with ISO 2 (or 25) is a challenge but has me motivated. I LOVE the imperfections/surprises in these alternative photographic processes. Now to tweak my workflow w/some more plates. 📸🎞️

Shot some VERY expired #film a couple of days ago — actually an antique 8x10” dry plate (glass negative) from an unused pack I found. Guessed wildly at the exposure but I got an image on the first try! #expiredfilm #dryplate #analog #antiquephotography
