It transferred from @YvonneArnaud to the #WestEnd's Duchess Theatre in 2005. #TBT

It's Patrick Sandford's 1989 production of Oscar Wilde's 1895 classic #AnIdealHusband, which transferred from @GrandTheatreLS1 to London's Westminster Theatre.
#Henceforward was apparently @Ayckbourn's first comedy with a touch of sci-fi. It's set in a future dystopian London & features an android nanny. Check out wiki synopsis. Wild!

This week's #DudleysProgrammes pick is @Ayckbourn's 34th (out of 80+) plays. As with most of his plays, #Henceforward premiered at Scarborough's @thesjt. A year later, in 1988, it transferred to the #WestEnd's Vaudeville Theatre, where Dudley saw it.

This week's #DudleysProgrammes pick is Arthur Miller's The American Clock, which first opened at Charleston's @SpoletoFestival in May 1980 before its Broadway premiere in November that year, when it closed after 12 perfs.
Dudley saw the UK premiere at @NationalTheatre in 1986.

Writer, Sharman McDonald & her husband decided they could only afford to have a child if the play was a success. The play was a hit, Sharman got preggers & her daughter is none other than the aforementioned Keira.

Dudley & his mate Georgina relished the chance to see #JulieWalters onstage in When I Was a Girl I Used to Scream & Shout.
They were big fans from her TV work with #VictoriaWood & the film of Willie Russell's Educating Rita, released three years earlier. #DudleysProgrammes
