#dylancope @JanetEastham To be comfortable saying this on camera ? We know that this attitude will be widespread. I mislead Pts into believing that I’m a Dr. I do just as good a job as a Dr anyways so why do they need to know that I’m a nurse ? @theRCN this is DANGEROUS

#dylancope @JanetEastham the public need to be made aware of the tiered rota @RCollEM allow physios, Paramedics nurses etc to work on Drs rotas as trainee ACPs all the way up to consultant ACPs. The ‘senior review’ could be a quick chat with an ACP not a senior DOCTOR.

Dylan Cope died after an A&E nurse practitioner mistook his abdominal pain for flu, having ignored his GP’s referral for suspected appendicitis. His family thought she was a doctor. A coroner found he would have survived had a senior doctor examined him. https://t.co/jK9zaA18rz
