How solid is the foundation on which #DynamicISF is built? Rock-solid according to these study results.

This (no difference w/faster insulin) is actually NOT surprising. It's predicted by the underlying mathematics of #DynamicISF/#DynISF. The dosing maths change/shift w/the insulin pharmacokinetics. Systems that don't take that into account are going to be inherently limited.

14-day comparisons! Photo 1 (2/27-3/12) is the baseline. #2 (3/13-3/26) is full #closedloop with Humalog and #DynamicISF. #3 (4/20-5/03) is full closed loop w/a 50/50 Humalog/Lyumjev mix. Best results with faster insulin. TIR gains are minimal (starting from a high baseline). 1/?

End of day 12. Noisy new sensor (Xmitter on it's last session probably a contributing factor, too), so TIR, etc. have suffered. The data are what they are, though. Still basically no lows, and better with Lyumjev than Humalog. #DynamicISF #ClosedLoop #T1D #Nof1
I'm sticking a fork (for me personally, at least) in the PGS (Personal Glycemic Status) metric. If the average person w/o #diabetes is ~9.6, and I am ~6.0, (where lower is better), then it's broken. #DynamicISF is good, but it isn't an islet transplant.
GDSM. The explanation for why #DynamicISF works (and why we don’t see the effect in HE clamp studies) has been sitting in the literature for longer than I’ve had #diabetes & I think it has implications for lipohypertophy and lipodystrophy prevention and site rotation recs . 👀🤯

Final stats (N=1) of two weeks in (almost) full closed-loop on #AAPS #DynamicISF with Humalog. Two manual boluses were administered during the 14 days- one during a CGM warmup, and another when the loop disconnected due to a dying pump battery.
@jasbulbasaur #AndroidAPS/#AAPS. It's a new algorithm called (at least for now) #DynamicISF; based on the idea that insulin sensitivity fluctuates with changes in blood glucose. The result is fewer highs, fewer (or no) lows, and a significant reduction in variability.
