Has anyone had surgery recently and had a good outcome using #ERAS protocols? I'd be much obliged if people would participate in my twitter poll. I'm trying to determine if #ERAS protocols actually work for patients. I simply don't trust the spokespeople for this regimen.

@LelenaPeacock I had #ERASProtocols 2nd belly surgery. No acute meds besides Tylenol. I hurt so bad in Post-op but was refused anything bc they did some "skin/nerve" procedure in OR that was supposed to help plus RN said I got meds there. Well it DID NOT HELP 3 days absolutely dreadful Hell

For anyone wondering what #ERASProtocols are-they are opioid sparing regimens for post-op pain. The goal is to use either zero or very few #opioids after surgery. Patients are told tylenol will suffice upon their release. Does this actually work for surgery? I'd love feedback!TY!
