A2: Online discussions work best in small groups. The whole group could be doing another task while smaller groups meet in another "breakout room" to discuss with with teacher. Use talk tokens - every student must use them to "Reply" or ask a "Question". #SPEAQesl #ESLedchat

A1 I like to give out a questionnaire to collect information about them and I always include a question like: What should I know about you?" In this way I learn about any particular learning needs they may have, I often get really interesting input. #ESLedchat #SPEAQesl

@SPEAQesl I am shy so I leaned heavily on Powtoons to deliver my lessons during the shutdown. I continue to use them and have begun uploading them to a youtube channel that can be easily referenced. #ESLedchat #SPEAQesl
