One of the many ways in which we connect with young people is through the EU Visitors Programme #EUVP.
During a study visit to Brussels this week, young leaders from Africa learned how we are putting #EUForeignPolicy into action to empower #youth. Our exchanges covered global security efforts & fighting disinformation.
Tomorrow these young leaders will attend the kick-off event of the European Youth Week, which will offer them a broader perspective on how the #EU connects & engages with young people around the world.

Happy International Women's Day! It was our honour to host an inspiring group of gender equality experts this week through the European Union Visitors Programme #EUVP
The visitors met with high level interlocutors, including the current and former European Commissioners for Equality @hadjalahbib @helenadalli, and witnessed the adoption of the new EU Gender Equality Strategy 2026-2030.
As the EU continues to step up its commitment to equality, we are glad to have these #EUVPAlumni as multipliers of this common value globally, ensuring that equality is a key element to decision making, from climate and digital policy to external action.

This week the EU Visitors Programme #EUVP organised its first Thematic Week, a seminar style study visit focusing on themes based on 🇪🇺#EU priorities. The theme for this week is Gender Equality and Equal Opportunities. Our Head of Service @pmwBxl met the group of visitors for an engaging discussion on FPI's work on this theme.

The documentary focuses on the destruction of Ukrainian cultural heritage following Russia’s invasion. A panel discussion will take place following the screening, featuring our director @pmwBxl who will speak about the partnership between @EU_Commission and @ALIPHFoundation to protect cultural heritage in Ukraine 🇺🇦🇪🇺
