Each are deeply implicated in the Contact taking place now, and will be implicated in all future Contacts with non-human intelligences. My only "deal" will be with the needs of humanity as best I can discern them, and in the service relationship i uphold with my own kind. That's my commitment. With our human kind secure and intact, we can then turn to engage in relationship with other kinds and explore our interconnection with the larger fabric of life.
