#Year5 and #Year6 used the broad beans and peas we grew in our edible garden, to make a tasty pasta salad. Everyone agreed it was so easy to make and want to make it again.

#Year5 made a tasty broad bean, pea and pasta salad in the edible playground this afternoon. We all agreed that it was amazing to eat food that we grew ourselves.

The flowers, fruit and vegetables and the learning are progressing well at Frizinghall Primary School and Christchurch Academy in their #EdiblePlaygrounds. They'll have to wait a few months more for the pumpkins!

After a great session with @GrowCardiff Blwyddyn 2 seasoned their lettuce that they had harvested with olive oil, lemon juice, and salt. We then grilled it in the oven! Some of us loved itโฆ some of us not so much! ๐ฅฌ๐คฉ
