I recall when a few years we undertook a Graduate Outcomes Study. Most disappointingly, the then leadership (at all levels) did not progress it to translate its findings into policy interventions. I hope this sees greater success #EducatingFiji 🎓 #FijiPol

Commendable. Education is a way to unlock hidden talents and opportunities for people but how does fit into the HEC’s strategy to meet their regulatory requirements? Do they have a strategy? Surely there are other agencies whose core mandate is to lead in this area #EducatingFiji
Quietly proud at the mention of Tonga’s last attempted imperial conquest of Fiji being defeated by #Taveuni/#Cakaudrove in the 1860s. There’s always a focus on Bau-centric history/narratives. It’s nice to hear from others for a change.

Anyway, that’s my 2 cents. I think given how ‘broken’ Fiji’s ed sector is, people need to ask hard questions about how rebranding equates to an improvement in services regulating the sector, supporting the development of providers and raising quality standards #EducatingFiji
