Many yrs ago, as a child, someone introduced me to the #EmbroiderersGuild. It showed me how creative you can be with scraps of fabric & thread & changed how I thought. I'm really enjoying sharing what I learned with my 10 yr old, the age I was when I first discovered embroidery.

After posting about the Hazlewood sisters we later found the original design for another of their pieces in a folio of designs by Joan Drew from 1929. Joan taught embroidery at the @V_and_A and #EmbroiderersGuild as well as being a talented illustrator.
