I’ve watched people walk out of the UN all week and I keep thinking the same thing: then what the hell is the point of the United Nations? You don’t have to agree. You don’t have to like what’s being said. But if countries can’t even sit in the same damn room and listen to each other, what exactly are we paying for? I’m tired of watching our tax dollars disappear into institutions that seem increasingly incapable of doing the very thing they were created to do. Wars everywhere. Countries refusing to listen to each other. Delegates walking out when they don’t like the speaker. And we call this the UNITED Nations? At some point you stop fixing something that clearly isn’t working. Dismantle it. Keep whatever actually serves a purpose and build something better. Because whatever the hell this is, it isn’t “united.” #ENDtheUN
