@SCDSBey Inquiry has allowed a diverse range of student strengths & needs to access the curriculum based on their ability. Following student interests and guiding/teaching them through questions, learning together and conversation has allowed ALL learners to be engaged & abilities grow.

@SCDSBey @SusanStacey8 It generally feels uncomfortable to be in the “educator” role and allow the student to take the lead. Changing your perspective and allowing yourself to learn BESIDE the student is so rewarding!

@SCDSBey @SusanStacey8 When I 1st started on the inquiry journey, it was the not knowing where it would go & when the inquiry didn’t “work” that made me feel uncomfortable. After experience, I learned this is valuable to the process: Co-learning, 👂🏽 to Ss & being open to challenge & change!

Making ⏰ for inquiry means lg blocks of uninterrupted play and exploration - inside & out! It can be both ‘messy’ & miraculous when we 👂 to our Ss and follow their lead. Say “Yes!” more often and be comfortable not knowing exactly where things will go. #EnhancingLitEY @SCDSBey
