A5 to Q3 Student response has been very positive! They enjoy being able to create and “think outside the box.” #equaals
A4 to Q2 I have been using the modeling clay as fine motor skills practice for students that need extra help. They have to knead and manipulate the clay to form letters and they love it! #equaals
A3 to Q4 I have noticed that the arts strategies I’ve been using are increasing student engagement. Even the students with disabilities are actively participating. #equaals
A2 to Q5 I’m not so afraid to teach art anymore! In the past, I’ve been rather intimidated because I am NO artist, but I feel a lot more confident about teaching art after Amy’s help and all the wonderful supplies. #equaals
A5: Art doesn't have to be treated as a defined, separate subject. It's a communication tool that can help kids express themselves and communicate in a variety of subjects, in a variety of ways. It is another way to make learning accessible for everyone! #equAALs
My students have been open to trying new techniques. They are willing to take risks and they are gaining more confidence in their abilities. They are seeing themselves as artists. #EquAALs
A3 to Q3 The students' eyes lit up as they heard the words "I Have a Dream" recalling the prior art lesson and the personal dreams they wrote to go with their self portraits. #EquAALS

I teach elementary PE snd on rainy days I had to come up with a creative way to have 55 +students in one room... I developed a whole bunch of sensory bins to help with fine motor control. The kinetic sand is a good way to develop fine motor control... #EquAALS
I downloaded some pictures to go with the wiki sticks and will laminate them and use them for one of my fine motor control bins #EquAALS
