#developing I talked with a spokesperson for @brooklyndaoffice DA #EricGonzalez & he confirmed to me that platinum & multi-gold selling drill rapper @sheff_g will not need to turn himself in this morning 8/13/25 because his sentencing has been postponed to 9/26/25. *Important #EricGonzalez, the man who helped #DanielPenny restrain #JordanNeely on the ##NewYork subway last May, said he lied when he claimed that Neely assaulted him. Gonzalez came clean after he viewed survillance footage that showed he lied. Gonzalez said he was afraid, that like Penny, he would be charged, so he made up the story to justify his actions. He also said he feared for his life and his family's life amidst the public outrage concerning the incident. He should have told the truth, but thankfully, the video did. There was no reason to lie, IMV.
