I have resigned from @uniofleicester. I was not at risk of redundancy. I have not been through the awful process that our colleagues had to endure, but I have experienced more than a glimpse of the lack of care, lack of interest, lack of human touch and lack of intellectualism
Hmm.
Fast approaching the point where it actually becomes counterproductive to describe Leicester senior management's failings, as it may give them clues. One alternative would be to dig a large pit, surround it with "DANGER—KEEP OUT" signs, and wait quietly to see what happens.

The redundancy ordinance also states that appeals will "normally" be heard by "a panel comprising 3 Lay Members of Council, nominated by the Chair of Council". In my case the Chair of Council, Gary Dixon, will himself chair this panel. 6/ #NoOneIsRedundant #EveryoneIsImpacted
The rationale for making me redudant was never explicitly defined – & it shifted over time. Managers were unable to articulate & operationalise a consistent & stable set of criteria. I was at risk, but I was never quite sure why. So much for habeas corpus. 3/ #EveryoneIsImpacted
