CTM012 submitted IND in #China Under the agreement, Excalipoint will obtain exclusive global rights to develop and commercialize the target assets. Lepu Biopharma will receive an upfront cash payment of $10 million and ordinary shares issued by Excalipoint Cayman to Innocube, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lepu Biopharma, representing 10% of Excalipoint Cayman’s expanded issued share capital. Additionally, Lepu Biopharma is entitled to up to $847.5 million in development and commercial milestone payments, as well as tiered sales royalties ranging from low to mid-single-digit percentages. Concurrently, Excalipoint Cayman will conduct a Series A financing, with investors including Sequoia China, YuanBio Venture Capital, and Apricot Capital collectively investing $41 million in Excalipoint Cayman. This transaction will advance Lepu Biopharma’s strategic research and development in next-generation ADC drugs and immuno-oncology bi/trispecific antibodies.
