Commission and @vonderleyen were due to deliver a "roadmap" for an exit strategy from coronavirus tomorrow but were slapped down by member states today - 🇮🇹 🇫🇷 🇪🇸 in particular who said they were not consulted. Wednesday's college meeting has now been downgraded to a "debate"
A lot of intellectual & political energy currently invested in 🇪🇺 fiscal package - rightly so. BUT: we should also invest into developing a comprehensive, coordinated, gradual & adaptable #EU #COVID19 #ExitManagementStrategy. But we are not - grave mistake. #EUCO
