Well, I've finished reading #ExploringES2016AndES2017!π² That was fast. Changes brought by standards #ES2016 and #ES2017 are not that tremendous as those introduced by #ES2015.
Hm, since #ES2017 trailing commas in function parameters lists are legal.π

Things are getting even tougher! Here is the talk describing the technique for parallelizing data handling. Haven't watched it yet, but shortly:
β’ Convert data to picture,
β’ Process it through OpenGL in parallel on GPU.
β’ Convert the result back.

My journey to parallelism in #JavaScrpt continues. Here comes some additional info that can make the statement in the original tweet valid.

Just discovered the super cool solution in #ExploringES2016AndES2017. In #async functions, you may have several awaits. If it isn't necessary for them to work sequentially, you can speed them up but using Promise.all().

#ExploringES2016AndES2017 recommends using the following strategy towards async functions:
β’ Use Promises directly to build asynchronous primitives.
β’ Use those primitives via async functions.

I've decided to write the test for this one. And I can't see the difference. Maybe you know something else?

I have the only doubt here. Knowing that #JavaScript is single-threaded and even does not have pseudoparallelism how is something going to happen in parallel? Or there are some tasks that it leaves for other threads like requests? Maybe @rauschma knows?π€

Reading #ExploringES2016andES2017. This happens every time: I read something new, forget, reread, almost forget and so on. I knew about #JavaScript exponential operator but forgot it. Now reading again and start to remember...π€
