The #EXTEMIT-K plot 8, built up as the last in spring 2022, was uninstalled. After two years of drought, it is very different from the surroundings despite most of the trees living.
We have collected samples from the stressed and control trees for #barkbeetle breeding tests.
The second roof of the #EXTEMIT-K was dissembled (No.7 Aldašín). It was built in the spring of 2021, and several attacked trees were found in the autumn of 2023.
The first of the #EXTEMIT-K roofs was uninstalled (No.5 Krymlov). It was built in 2021 and heavily attacked by bark beetles at the end of summer 2023.

Drought is currently very serious in Czechia and especially under the roof of #EXTEMIT-K. Bark beetles attacked four trees (two are in the green phase, but all four still have most offspring under the bark).
